Information Power Mission Statement
To ensure that all patrons of the library media center (students and faculty) are effective and efficient users of information
|
In order to fulfill the mission statement, schools and librarians need to
- provide intellectual & physical access to materials and all formats
- provide instruction that promotes competence & stimulates interest in reading, viewing, and using information
- to collaborate with other educators or colleagues to design learning strategies that meet the needs of all library patrons
