The Mission and Roles of the WLA - Children/Young Adult Section are to:
- promote children's services within Wyoming's libraries;
- promote the profession of librarianship within Wyoming's libraries;
- promote the continued improvement of children's literature & programing within Wyoming's libraries;
- support Wyoming librarians in their professional roles;
- promote the participation of Wyoming's librarians and libraries in regional, national and global library arenas.

Who's your Buddy?
The children librarians across the state in an effort to provide information about our section, programming and other services have developed a "Buddy System". Each county has partnered up with another county. You will find your "buddy" on the list. Feel free to ask your "buddy" questions about WLA or any children's services.
