The WLA Awards Committee is responsible for:
- Promoting the profession of librarianship by acknowledging outstanding contributions made by WLA's members in the field of librarianship;
- Selecting those individuals, nominated by their peers, for WLA awards;
- Coordinating and presenting awards at the annual Wyoming Library Association Conference.
