The Mission and Roles of the Academic & Special Libraries Section are to:

promote library service within Wyoming's academic & special libraries;
promote the profession of librarianship within Wyoming's academic & special libraries;
promote the continued improvement of Wyoming's academic & special libraries;
support Wyoming academic & special librarians in their professional roles;
promote the participation of Wyoming's academic & special librarians and libraries in regional, national and global library arenas.
